Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yas Uru!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uru throws a body kick that misses.
Miller throws a series of punches but Uru avoids them all with ease.
Uru is trying to counter with his kicks.
Uru delivers a nice body kick.
Miller throws a shot to the body.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Miller.
Miller misses with a jab, cross combination.
Horrible takedown attempt by Miller or perhaps it was just good defense by Uru, which made it look bad.
Uru scores with a kick to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Uru displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Miller throws out the jab.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Miller throws a body kick that misses.

Uru throws an overhand right that lands on Miller's shoulder, as Miller tries to avoid the shot.
Uru avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Uru throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Miller sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Miller shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Uru sprawls well. Uru wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Miller gets slowly back to his feet.

Uru fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Miller manages to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Yas Uru will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Uru paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Miller takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Miller jabs Uru right on the nose. Uru blinks but takes it well.
Uru misses with a body kick.
Miller cracks Uru with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Uru tries a low kick but Miller avoids it.
Miller tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Uru counters with a straight right hand.

Uru connects with a leg kick. Miller looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Uru misses with a kick to the body.
Uru throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling Miller to counter with a crisp jab.

Miller walks into a stiff left hand from Uru.
Uru thuds his shin into the meat of Miller's side.

Miller scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Josh Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Uru thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Miller if he has to take too many more of those.

Miller shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Uru as he avoids it easily.
A nice side step and Uru releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Miller rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Uru moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Uru unleashes a big counter combination but Miller bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Uru connects with a good right hand that stumbles Miller. Miller circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Yas Uru showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
