Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hector Lopez (ranked 7089 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackie Chan (ranked 7087 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopez comes to the cage accompanied by Rockstar. Jackie Chan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan slaps away a takedown attempt from Lopez, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Chan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Chan lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Chan trying to control the position from guard on top but Lopez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Chan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Chan drops back looking for a leg! Lopez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lopez manages to kick Chan off! Chan jumps back into Lopez's guard.
Lopez wants to stand and escape but Chan is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chan passes into half guard.

Chan in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Lopez tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Chan!
