Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brajan Aleksander (ranked 8704 p4p, 705 weight class) and Julian Eduardo Demaestri (ranked 24572 p4p, 724 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Brajan Aleksander has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Brajan Aleksander seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brajan Aleksander!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Julian Eduardo Demaestri!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demaestri shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Demaestri was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Aleksander knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Demaestri on the ground.
Demaestri content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Aleksander managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Demaestri.

Aleksander on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Aleksander tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Demaestri wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

It looks like Brajan Aleksander has been cut.
Demaestri looks up at the clock and then as Aleksander takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Demaestri smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Aleksander tries to control but Demaestri manages to take his back.
Demaestri lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Aleksander.
Brajan Aleksander's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Demaestri lands with a hammerfist to the side of Aleksander's head.
Aleksander is rocked!
Jeez, Brajan Aleksander's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Brajan Aleksander's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Julian Eduardo Demaestri!
In his post fight interview, Julian Eduardo Demaestri started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
