Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Erik Sagstrom (ranked 3477 p4p, 423 weight class) and Chadwin De Chandler (ranked 3644 p4p, 437 weight class). The key to victory for Erik Sagstrom has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagstrom takes the fight into the clinch.

De Chandler is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sagstrom pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

De Chandler drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and De Chandler jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
De Chandler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sagstrom swivels though and keeps the full guard.
