Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dalip Singh (ranked 5075 p4p, 165 weight class) and Brock Richardson (ranked 25166 p4p, 266 weight class). Richardson has chosen Deadly Sinners as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dalip Singh could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Brock Richardson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richardson throws a poor cross that misses

so Singh counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Singh's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Singh has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Richardson felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
