The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alli forces Johnson back against the cage and clinches.
Alli throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Alli's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Alli tries to keep at a distance but Johnson has taken the fight into the clinch.

Johnson tries to work over Alli's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Johnson lands a big right hand that sends Alli crashing to the mat! Johnson stays standing though and waves Alli back to his feet!
Alli walks straight into a right hand from Johnson - that's dropped him! Johnson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Alli from any more punishment! Alli complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
