Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien The Omen (ranked 572 p4p, 71 weight class) and Kevin Sheedy (ranked 832 p4p, 110 weight class). The Omen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Number of the Beast - Iron Maiden. Kevin Sheedy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheedy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

The Omen rushes Sheedy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Sheedy has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

The Omen loads up on a big right hand but Sheedy slips the punch.
Sheedy swings widly with a right hand

and The Omen counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by The Omen.
Sheedy blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
I was talking to The Omen's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Sheedy tries to keep at a distance but The Omen has taken the fight into the clinch.
The Omen throws a punch but it's blocked by Sheedy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sheedy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The Omen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Sheedy lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - The Omen can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Sheedy and The Omen drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Sheedy.
