Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Loren Cline (ranked 5950 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Medina (ranked 3885 p4p, 475 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Medina.
Medina throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Medina throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Cline decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Medina's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cline makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Cline lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Medina down.

Cline is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Medina knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cline goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Medina has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cline but great work by Medina.

Cline has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Medina is staying tight to Cline's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Cline's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Cline tries to lock up and control but Medina gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Antonio Medina showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Cline is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Medina.
Cline lands with a nice body punch.
Medina lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Cline backs up against the cage.
Medina lands a brutal head kick. Cline looks out on his feet and Medina throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
