Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brent Reid (ranked 3465 p4p, 420 weight class) and Asu Kuren (ranked 1915 p4p, 258 weight class). Reid comes to the cage accompanied by At The Hundredth Meridian - The Tragically Hip. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Asu Kuren!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid throws a chopping leg kick but Kuren manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Reid throws out a powerful jab.
Kuren has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kuren shoots in but no luck this time.
Reid jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Asu Kuren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
