The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuala tries to score a power double leg takedown but Scharf sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kuala somewhat.
Kuala takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Scharf looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Kuala gets tackled into the cage by Scharf. Scharf maintains the clinch.
Kuala blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Scharf makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Kuala has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Scharf avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimi Kuala. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Scharf unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Kuala! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Scharf is unloading with more strikes now! Kuala drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
