Eirikson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by If I had a heart. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eirikson throws a combination. Muller tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Nicolas Muller has been cut.
Muller takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Eirikson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Muller sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Muller looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

Muller rushes Eirikson and presses him up against the cage.
Eirikson lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Muller has Eirikson pressed against the cage, preventing Eirikson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Muller unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Muller lands a damaging elbow.
Eirikson throws a head punch that misses.
Muller prevents Eirikson from breaking the clinch.

Eirikson manages to break the clinch.
Eirikson throws a series of punches but Muller avoids them all with ease.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Muller lands with a straight right. Eirikson didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Leif Eirikson has been cut.
Muller moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Muller closes the distance and clinches.
Muller throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Eirikson has had enough of the clinch but Muller keeps him there for the moment.
Eirikson misses with a short punch on the inside.
Muller has Eirikson pressed against the cage, preventing Eirikson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Eirikson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Leif Eirikson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eirikson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Muller moves out of range of the strikes.
Eirikson looks to throw the jab but Muller is out of range.
Muller tries to counter by clinching up but Eirikson breaks away and moves out of range.
Muller takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Eirikson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Muller with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Eirikson avoids the body shot from Muller.
A countering left hand to the body from Eirikson misses.

Muller clinches.
Muller gets through Eirikson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Eirikson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Eirikson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Muller's head.

Nicolas Muller's cut is getting worse.
Muller defending well as Eirikson loads up on a big left hand.
It appears Muller was looking to counter with a kick there.
Muller uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Eirikson.
Nice body punch from Eirikson.
Muller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Eirikson measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Muller! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
