Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Koboko Dada (ranked 4580 p4p, 485 weight class) and Warley Alvez (ranked 3777 p4p, 415 weight class). Dada comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome to Jamrock. Alvez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. NYSNC`-POP kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Koboko Dada has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dada tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Alvez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dada misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Alvez throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dada counters with a single leg into guard. Alvez didn't expect that.
Dada cracks Alvez with a solid left hand.
Alvez looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dada has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dada stands up over Alvez, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Dada is in close to Alvez's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Dada throws an elbow that misses. Alvez uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dada's guard. Nice move by Alvez!

Alvez's coach down at Heavy Hitters and BJJ Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Alvez's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Koboko Dada will probably get the nod.

Dada changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alvez tries to avoid it but Dada manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alvez to the ground. Alvez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Alvez throws a right hand that Dada ducks under and follows up with a left that Dada also avoids with ease.
Alvez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dada stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

A less than humble Warley Alvez misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Koboko Dada spoke after the fight, saying 'I still get to fuck this mans wife later tonight'.
