Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitrikis throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Pinguin counters by clinching up.
Pinguin jumps guard but Mitrikis stands there with Pinguin around his waist. Pinguin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mitrikis breaks the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Mitrikis. No joy for Pinguin on that attempt.
Pinguin fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tolik Pinguin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mitrikis closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pinguin did well to prevent Mitrikis getting side control.
Mitrikis working over Pinguin with some ground and pound. Pinguin looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Mitrikis decides to stand up.

Mitrikis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mitrikis lands in his opponent's guard.

Pinguin looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Mitrikis passes into side control.
Mitrikis controls the position.
Pinguin can't do much from the bottom here.
Mitrikis lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Mitrikis decides to stand back up. Mitrikis steps back and let's Pinguin get back to his feet.

Mitrikis closes the distance and clinches.
The referee is keeping an eye on Mitrikis - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Pinguin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Mitrikis scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Mitrikis looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Mitrikis is pressing down on Pinguin's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pinguin is holding on for now.
Pinguin wants to improve his position but Mitrikis is controlling well.

Mitrikis drops an elbow to the side of Pinguin's head.

Mitrikis stands up from half guard.

Mitrikis closes the distance and clinches.

Mitrikis has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Pinguin regains guard immediately.
Oh Pinguin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pinguin has momentary wrist control but Mitrikis slips an elbow through the middle.
Mitrikis gets to his feet and stands over Pinguin, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Pinguin felt that one! Mitrikis unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Pinguin from any more punishment!
