Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lew Zatorski (ranked 5197 p4p, 595 weight class) and Jackson Magnum (ranked 5503 p4p, 617 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Magnum's choice of entrance music: I am Stronger. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jackson Magnum!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zatorski throws a front kick aimed at Magnum's knee but Magnum avoids it well.

Magnum moves into the clinch successfully.
Zatorski is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Magnum to keep the fight standing.
Magnum lands a hook to the side of the head.

Magnum escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zatorski tries to clinch but Magnum is having none of it.
Zatorski fails with an attempt to clinch.
Magnum tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zatorski was well out of range. Poor timing from Magnum.
Magnum circles away from the clinch attempt.
Magnum throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zatorski scores with a shot to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Zatorski.
As Zatorski backs off Magnum throws a huge counter combo but Zatorski manages to avoid it all.
Zatorski throws a right hand that Magnum ducks under and follows up with a left that Magnum also avoids with ease.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zatorski shoots for a double leg takedown but Magnum sprawls well. He's pushed Zatorski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lew Zatorski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Magnum stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Magnum wants it to stay on the feet.
Lew Zatorski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zatorski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Magnum as he avoids it easily.

and Magnum cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Lew Zatorski has been cut.

Magnum decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Zatorski makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
