The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Ron Honeybunn and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Onay shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Onay was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Joints can't do much from the bottom here.
Onay sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Joints is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Joints pushes Onay away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Onay gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Joints tries to buck Onay off but Onay is having none of it.
