The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melamies looks to land a body kick but Toshiyuki moved away.
Melamies moves into range and connects with a jab.
Toshiyuki is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Melamies.
Melamies looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Toshiyuki throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Toshiyuki pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ibrahim Mamu Melamies seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Melamies throws a sloppy head kick and Toshiyuki moves out of range easily.
Toshiyuki wants to counter with a clinch but Melamies pushes him away.
Toshiyuki throws a head kick but Melamies moves out of range.
Toshiyuki walks into a stiff left hand from Melamies.
It looks like Tanishi Toshiyuki has been cut.
Melamies fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Toshiyuki manages to avoid it.
Toshiyuki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Melamies fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The fighters circle, before Melamies throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Toshiyuki's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Melamies lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ibrahim Mamu Melamies spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Tanishi Toshiyuki was interviewed post fight and said 'Fuck u!'.
