Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
43 - 84 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Makebono Bowen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

22 - 44 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Toni Urg!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowen moves in looking to clinch but Urg pushes him off.
It seemed like Urg was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Bowen wants to clinch up but Urg keeps it at a distance.
Bowen tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Urg counters with a crisp one two that drops Bowen! Urg thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Bowen to his feet! Bowen is in big trouble!
Bowen tries to clinch but Urg moves out of range.
Urg has Bowen up against the cage in a clinch.
Bowen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Urg tries to keep at a distance but Bowen has taken the fight into the clinch.
Urg tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bowen smiles and moves away.
Bowen wants to clinch up but Urg keeps it at a distance.
Urg is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Urg just misses with a punch to the body.
Bowen closes the distance and clinches.
Urg goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bowen prevents it.
Bowen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bowen tries to close the distance and clinch but Urg swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Bowen pushes Urg up against the cage in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Bowen's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Urg jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bowen walks away with a smile on his face. Urg gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Makebono Bowen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toni Urg.
Urg shoots for a takedown but Bowen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bowen clinches up against the cage.

Bowen fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Bowen misses with a knee to the head.
Bowen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Urg fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bowen, pushing him back against the cage.
Bowen swings wildly with an uppercut but Urg uses good head movement to avoid it.
Urg wants a takedown.
Bowen prevents Urg from breaking the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Urg wants to take the fight to the mat but Bowen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Bowen misses with the head strike.
Bowen with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Bowen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bowen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Urg paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Urg wants to counter with a clinch but Bowen pushes him away.
Makebono Bowen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bowen darts in and clinches Urg up against the cage.
Bowen misses with a punch to the body.
Bowen effectively controlling the action here.
Bowen tries to stall but Urg uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Urg wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Urg has Bowen pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bowen manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Urg blocks an elbow strike from Bowen.
Urg breaks from the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bowen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Urg.
Urg swats away the attempt to clinch by Bowen.

Urg fails to land the takedown.
Bowen tries to clinch up.
Bowen gets a clinch.
Urg working some nice short punches in the clinch.
It looks like Makebono Bowen has been cut.
Bowen lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Urg pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Urg counters with a straight right hand.
Urg misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bowen looks to score with a jab to the body but Urg is just out of range.
Urg gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Bowen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Urg is defending well for now.

Bowen doesn't manage to clinch there - Urg circles away.

Urg moves into the clinch successfully.
Urg pulls guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Urg trying to control the position.
Bowen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Urg on the ground.
Bowen wants to stand and escape but instead Urg has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Bowen wants to stand up but Urg is controlling him.
Urg not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Urg forces his way into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Toni Urg will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Makebono Bowen's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Urg closes the distance and clinches.
Bowen breaks from the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bowen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bowen misses with a straight right.
Bowen tries to clinch but Urg moves out of range.
Bowen throws the left hand but Urg avoids the punch easily.
Bowen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Urg avoids the head kick by Bowen.
Urg darts in and clinches Bowen up against the cage.
Bowen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bowen lands a big head kick that sends Urg to the canvas! Bowen follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
