Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank De Bruyne (ranked 6693 p4p, 566 weight class) and Freak Wannabe (ranked 7564 p4p, 578 weight class). De Bruyne kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is ScHoolboy Q - Man Of The Year. Wannabe has chosen The Motherfucker as his entrance music. Freak Wannabe is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Bruyne shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Wannabe makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. De Bruyne really felt that one!
Wannabe is looking to slow De Bruyne down with leg kicks.
Wannabe throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No joy there for Wannabe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Wannabe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but De Bruyne manages to avoid it.
De Bruyne throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wannabe's waist but Wannabe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing De Bruyne off to one side.

Wannabe dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on De Bruyne. That did some damage!

Wannabe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wannabe should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Frank De Bruyne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Freak Wannabe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wannabe throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

De Bruyne is rocked!

Wannabe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Oh De Bruyne is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wannabe lands a brutal head kick. De Bruyne looks out on his feet and Wannabe throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
