Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jere Decker (ranked 8866 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conor Mcgregor (ranked 5927 p4p, 0 weight class). Conor Mcgregor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jere Decker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor Mcgregor!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcgregor gets caught flat footed, as Decker shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Mcgregor managing to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mcgregor is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Mcgregor looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Mcgregor is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Decker defends well.

Mcgregor is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Decker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Decker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mcgregor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Decker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mcgregor is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Mcgregor tries to circle away but Decker has him pinned against the cage.
Decker is looking to control Mcgregor's arms but Mcgregor gets an underhook and turns him. Now Decker has his back to the cage.

Mcgregor wants the takedown. Decker is fighting it off but Mcgregor persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Decker's guard against the cage.

Decker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mcgregor gets to his feet. Decker looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Mcgregor clinches up with Decker and pushes him back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Conor Mcgregor will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Mcgregor shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Decker's guard.

Mcgregor postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Decker is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mcgregor, into his guard.

Mcgregor is trying to hold Decker in close to prevent damage but Decker has managed to pass into half guard.

Decker seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Mcgregor tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Decker has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Decker gets his hands free as Mcgregor looks to control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mcgregor is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

I would just about give that final round to Conor Mcgregor.
I think Mcgregor has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
