The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris thows a left - swing and a miss!
Harris thumps Lightning with a low kick.
Harris jabs at Lightning's body.
Harris loads up on a big right hand but Lightning slips the punch.

Harris has closed the distance and engaged Lightning in a clinch.
Harris scores with a shoulder strike.
Harris presses Lightning against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Harris lands with a short punch from the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Harris creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Lightning really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lightning tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Harris gets through Lightning's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Harris pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lightning finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Harris lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lightning keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Harris.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Harris, as that shot connected.
The fighters circle momentarily. Harris darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Raven Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Harris throws an overhand right that lands on Lightning's shoulder, as Lightning tries to avoid the shot.
Harris dodges the punch combination from Lightning.
Harris has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lightning finds it's way round the side to connect with Harris's head.

Harris swings wildly with an uppercut but Lightning uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nice body punch from Harris.
Lightning is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Harris pushes Lightning back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Harris lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Lightning.

Harris digs a right hand into Lightning's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Lightning's gas tank.
Harris pushes Lightning back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Harris pushes Lightning against the cage. Harris is working some dirty boxing. Harris pushes off with a quick right hook! Lightning goes down! Lightning tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Harris moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
