The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doukas digs a good body shot into Hobson's ribs.
Doukas works Hobson's body with a nice hook.
Hobson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Doukas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Doukas just misses with a punch to the body.
It looked like Hobson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Doukas throws a leg kick that misses.
Hobson misses the shot to the body.
Doukas dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hobson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hobson tries a head kick but it misses.

Doukas throws a head kick but Hobson moves out of range.
No joy there for Hobson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Doukas misses with an uppercut

and Hobson counters with a right, a left and a big uppercut that drops Doukas to the mat! Hobson runs to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. 3,4,5,6 and Doukas is back to his feet. He seems ready to continue - the ref agrees so we're back at it!
Doukas throws a sloppy head kick and Hobson moves out of range easily.
Hobson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hobson closes the distance and catches Doukas with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Doukas is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Doukas is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Doukas is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Hobson takes it!
