Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bradley Luck (ranked 5723 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slut Eater (ranked 7812 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luck shoots and misses
and Eater counters with a nice body shot.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Luck.
Eater rushes Luck and presses him up against the cage.
Luck pulls guard.
Eater must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Luck has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Eater can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Luck manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Eater manages to get himself to full guard.
Eater wants to control but Luck passes easily into half guard.
Eater throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Eater kicks Luck off and gets back to his feet.
Luck closes the distance and clinches up with Eater, looking for a takedown. Luck pushes Eater against the cage but Eater circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Eater goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Luck is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Eater.
Luck throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Eater counters by clinching up.
Luck's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Luck is looking to clinch but Eater is avoiding it.
Luck shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Eater is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Eater is looking for a triangle here but Luck uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Luck decides to stand back up. Luck steps back and let's Eater get back to his feet.

Luck shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Eater as he jumps to the side.
The fight stays on the outside here - Luck looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nice takedown defense from Luck. No joy for Eater on that attempt.
Eater tries to score a power double leg takedown but Luck sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Eater somewhat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Luck moves into the clinch.
Luck escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Luck shoots in for a double leg but Eater sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Luck closes the distance and clinches.
Luck gets underhooks to prevent Eater's takedown attempt.
Eater is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Luck drops down looking for an ankle pick but Eater pulls his leg out and moves away.
Luck keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

That was a close round but I would say that Bradley Luck will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Eater lands a lovely overhand right.
Luck missing with a left hand there. Eater was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Luck closes the distance and clinches up with Eater, looking for a takedown. Luck pushes Eater against the cage but Eater circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
As Luck backs off Eater throws a huge counter combo but Luck manages to avoid it all.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Eater throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Eater shoots in but no luck this time.
Luck fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Eater to the ground. Luck is now in Eater's guard.
Eater is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Eater postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bradley Luck overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Eater tries to free his leg and advance position but Luck is retaining full guard.

Luck lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Luck is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Eater wants to get back to his feet but Luck is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Eater looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Luck puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Luck wants to control but Eater is keeping him busy.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Eater darts in looking for a takedown but Luck gets double underhooks and turns Eater into the cage.
Luck has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Eater is breathing heavily.
Luck throws a right and a left that both miss.

Eater jumps guard but Luck stands there with Eater around his waist. Eater gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Eater moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Eater really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Luck. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Luck is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Eater wants to get back to full guard but Luck has passed into side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Eater is looking to reverse the position.
Luck decides to stand back up.
Luck misses with a takedown
and Eater makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Eater dives in and grabs Luck's left leg, looking for a takedown. Luck pushes down on Eater's head and hops out.
Bradley Luck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Slut Eater.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bradley Luck.
I think Luck has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
