Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Glitter (ranked 7908 p4p, 713 weight class) and Fillip Foon (ranked 6827 p4p, 670 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foon looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Glitter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Foon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Glitter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Glitter shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Glitter with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Glitter's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Foon tries to get to full guard but Glitter has control of the leg.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Glitter on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Glitter tries to get out of the position.
Foon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Glitter swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Foon is looking to take a break and control but Glitter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That was a close round but I would say that Gary Glitter will probably get the nod.

Glitter throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Foon tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Glitter is in Foon's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Glitter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Foon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Glitter has managed to get both his arms back between Foon's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Glitter lands with a hook. Foon tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Glitter takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Foon is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Glitter is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Glitter, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
