Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Baron Geisler (ranked 2149 p4p, 277 weight class) and Nate Lopez (ranked 8825 p4p, 723 weight class). Baron Geisler could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nate Lopez's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Geisler throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Geisler takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Lopez checks a low kick from Geisler.
Lopez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lopez lands the left hand.
Lopez scores with a nice head shot.
Lopez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lopez misses the jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Geisler. Lopez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Geisler wants to slow Lopez down by chopping away at his legs.
Lopez on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Geisler. Geisler obviously looking to wear him down.

Geisler looks to land a body kick but Lopez moved away.

Geisler ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Oh Geisler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Baron Geisler is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Geisler throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Geisler tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Geisler throws a body shot but no joy.

Lopez clinches.
Geisler seems to have got his legs back now.
A head punch on the inside from Lopez fails to land.
A short body shot lands from Lopez as the two fighters clinch.

Geisler misses with a shot to the kidneys.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Geisler.
Lopez blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Geisler misses with the head strike.
Lopez lands a left hand that snaps the head of Geisler backwards.
A short left from Lopez.
Lopez blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Nice body punch from Lopez - that landed with a thud.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Lopez.
Geisler tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Geisler tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Lopez swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Lopez makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Lopez tries to work over Geisler's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Lopez throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Geislers head.
Geisler swings wildly with an uppercut but Lopez uses good head movement to avoid it.

Lopez misses with a punch on the inside.

Lopez decides to pull guard.
Geisler pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lopez is keeping the position for now.
Geisler trying to control the position from guard on top but Lopez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Geisler is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Geisler in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lopez is controlling Geisler's posture.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Geisler tries to land a front kick but Lopez steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Geisler misses with a body shot.
Lopez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Geisler throws a quick inside leg kick.
Lopez lands an overhand right.
Lopez lands a head shot.
Geisler tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Geisler keeps the fight on the outside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nate Lopez dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Geisler throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lopez sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lopez comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lopez ducks under a wild hook from Geisler.
Lopez throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Geisler colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Lopez as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Geisler is left battered and dazed whilst Lopez and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nate Lopez!
Nate Lopez spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
