Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Savage (ranked 24091 p4p, 723 weight class) and Khabib Miocic (ranked 8615 p4p, 684 weight class). Savage's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Pomp & Circumstance. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Savage counters with a one-two to the body.
Miocic's coach down at Cozad MMA Montreal was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Miocic's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Savage stuffs the takedown attempt from Miocic. Miocic gets slowly back to his feet.

Miocic feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
