Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dave Beast (ranked 1726 p4p, 227 weight class) and Vincenzo Hall (ranked 9249 p4p, 700 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Beast moves away.
Beast changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Hall fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beast manages to avoid it.
Some bone on bone action there as Hall checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Beast throws a head kick but Hall moves out of range.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hall connects with a nice short shot to Beast's temple.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hall has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

It looks like Hall might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

A nice side step and Hall releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Beast fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hall looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

The crowd cheers as Hall lands an impressive looking overhand right. Beast doesn't seem phased though.

Beast takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Beast tries to bum rush Hall with a series of wild strikes but Hall uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Beast lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Beast has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hall 's face.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Beast cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Vincenzo Hall is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Hall tries to lock up and control but Beast gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Beast lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Hall ! Beast sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Hall and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
