The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valatudo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Chigg counters with a solid body kick.
Valatudo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Chigg to counter with a crisp jab.
Valatudo moves to clinch but Chigg breaks away
and Chigg cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Valatudo darts in trying to clinch
and Chigg counters with a low kick, right behind Valatudo 's knee.
Valatudo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Chigg to counter with a crisp jab.
Burro Chigg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arsenio Valatudo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Valatudo throws a right hand that misses
and Chigg counters with an outside leg kick.
Chigg looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Valatudo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

and Chigg counters with a body kick that stops Valatudo in his tracks momentarily.

Arsenio Valatudo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chigg bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Valatudo's head.
Chigg takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Chigg connects with a right hand. Valatudo shakes it off.
Chigg lands with a nice body punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chigg sends Valatudo crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Chigg is motioning to the referee to let Valatudo up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
