Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shaggy Shank (ranked 4201 p4p, 464 weight class) and Gordon Razor (ranked 5110 p4p, 547 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shank swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Razor.
Shank connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Razor looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Shank gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Shank pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Shank lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Razor circles away quickly and effectively.
Razor feints the counter takedown.
No joy there for Shank, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Razor tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Shank misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Razor changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Shank stuns Razor with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Shank lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Razor circles away quickly and effectively.
Shank looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Razor gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Shank.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shank throws a sloppy head kick and Razor moves out of range easily.
Razor drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Shank defends it well.
Shank dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Shank. Those never looked like landing.
Shank lands with a nice combination. Razor backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Gordon Razor has been cut.

Razor takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Shank will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Shank misses the jab.
Razor raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Shank misses with a few strikes there.
And Razor tries to counter it with a takedown but Shank pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Shaggy Shank is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Shank throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Razor changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Shank wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Shank throws a series of punches but Razor avoids them all with ease.

Shank misses with a wild combination.
Shank with a nice cross.
The crowd cheers as Shank lands an impressive looking overhand right. Razor doesn't seem phased though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shank has managed to clinch.
Razor stalls.
Shank misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Shank is trying to force a seperation but Razor has the dominant position.

Razor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Shank tests Razor's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Razor avoids a punch combination nicely.
Razor drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Shank defends it well.
A shot to the liver by Shank. Beautiful body shot.

and Razor counters with a takedown into side control.
Razor trying to control the position but Shank is working away.
The ground and pound from Razor seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Razor tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Razor tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Razor has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Razor has an Americana. Shank didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Razor is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Razor hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
