And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 wins, 6 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Helsinki, Vihaan Lal!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lal tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Steinheiser defends well and Lal ends up having to push Steinheiser into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Steinheiser tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Lal manages to circle out of the way.

Steinheiser closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Lal bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Lal shoots in for a takedown but Steinheiser shows good takedown defense.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lal enables Steinheiser to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lal manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Steinheiser lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Steinheiser is looking to work some ground and pound but Lal has wrist control.

Lal has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Steinheiser can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Steinheiser is in close to Lal's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Steinheiser wants to control from the top but Lal keeps moving.
Steinheiser is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Steinheiser stays in close to Lal's body and controls the position.
Steinheiser keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lal's head.

Steinheiser landing some decent shots from guard.
Steinheiser wants to pass the guard but Lal is keeping the position.
Steinheiser is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Lal is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Lal looks winded!
Lal has momentary wrist control but Steinheiser slips an elbow through the middle.
Steinheiser landing some decent shots from guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Steinheiser's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Steinheiser is working Lal over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Lal is rocked!
Steinheiser might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Steinheiser gets to his feet and stands over Lal, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Lal felt that one! Steinheiser unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Lal from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lynn Steinheiser!
After winning the bout, Lynn Steinheiser thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
