Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Altare (ranked 730 p4p, 113 weight class) and Archie Moore (ranked 635 p4p, 99 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that John Altare has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily John Altare seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
27 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Altare!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
27 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Archie Moore!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Altare.
Altare throws a shot from downtown. Moore moves away and avoids it.
Altare ducks under a wild hook from Moore.
Moore throws a head kick that Altare semi-blocks.
It looks like John Altare has been cut.
Altare with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Moore to score with a decent uppercut.
Moore moves out of range of the leg kick from Altare.
Moore thuds his right hand into Altare's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Altare looks to land a right hand but Moore moved out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Moore! But no joy.
Moore misses with a straight right.
Moore avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Altare feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Moore's calf.
Altare takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Altare gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Altare can't find room to land a body shot as Moore controls the action.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Moore is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Altare swings wildly with an uppercut but Moore uses good head movement to avoid it.
Moore lands a body punch in the clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Moore.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Still in the clinch, Moore scores with a nice short uppercut.
Altare is breathing heavily.
Moore cracks Altare with a nice body shot.
Altare misses with a punch to the body.
A head punch on the inside from Altare fails to land.
Altare misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Moore tries to throw a body punch but Altare avoids it by throwing Moore back against the cage.
Moore tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Altare avoids it.
Moore works on Altare's body with a couple of short punches.
Moore breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Moore thuds his shin into the meat of Altare's side.
Altare gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Moore throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Moore circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Altare to the canvas! Altare doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Moore keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Archie Moore!
Post fight, Archie Moore stared into the camera and said 'I am the Barbarian!'.
