The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shelby lands a big right hand that sends Kruiz crashing to the mat! Shelby stays standing though and waves Kruiz back to his feet!

Kruiz is rocked!
Shelby displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kruiz.
Kruiz is still on wobbly legs! Can Shelby finish him?
Shelby gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Kruiz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Shelby won't be happy with that.
Kruiz seems to have recovered his senses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A very excited looking Tom Kruiz rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
