Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry Hoodoo (ranked 1591 p4p, 220 weight class) and Douche Canoe (ranked 1468 p4p, 203 weight class). Hoodoo comes to the cage accompanied by I Put A Spell On You. Douche Canoe is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Douche Canoe!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoodoo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hoodoo gets caught napping as Canoe dives in and scores a takedown. Hoodoo manages to retain guard.
Canoe missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Canoe is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Hoodoo working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Canoe.
Canoe throws a strike but Hoodoo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Canoe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hoodoo throws out the jab.

Henry Hoodoo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Douche Canoe.
Hoodoo throws a hook but Canoe blocks it.
A little jabbing left from Canoe on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Canoe looks for a takedown but Hoodoo sprawls well.

It looks like Douche Canoe has been cut.
Hoodoo leaves Canoe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Hoodoo fails to land with a series of punches.
Canoe slips under a jab.
Canoe shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hoodoo sprawls well. Hoodoo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Canoe gets slowly back to his feet.
Hoodoo leaves Canoe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Canoe looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Hoodoo tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Canoe avoids it.

Canoe turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Canoe manages to end up in side control.

Hoodoo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Canoe can do to turn this around?
Hoodoo can't do much from the bottom here.
Hoodoo sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Hoodoo is trying to stand up here but Canoe is controlling him well.

Canoe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hoodoo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Canoe postures up and lands a big shot to Hoodoo's brow.
Canoe chips away with some ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Canoe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Canoe distracts Hoodoo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Hoodoo is rocked!
Canoe arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Hoodoo's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Douche Canoe!
After the fight, Douche Canoe was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
