The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hard swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And Silva tries to counter it with a takedown but Hard pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Hard throws out a loose jab but Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Silva drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hard defends it well.
Hard swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hard connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Hard misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Silva moves away from the strike by Hard.
Silva changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Hard ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silva moves away.
Silva is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hard throws a right and a left that Silva avoids nicely.
Hard lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hard.
Silva has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Hard is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Hard throws a nice looking combination but Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hard works over Silva's head and body with a nice combination.

Hard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
