The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cartwright shoots in and bounces Hugs off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Cartwright closes the distance and clinches up with Hugs, looking for a takedown. Cartwright pushes Hugs against the cage but Hugs circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
And Hugs tries to counter it with a takedown but Cartwright pushes his down on his head and steps out.
