Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Viet Nam (ranked 569 p4p, 31 weight class) and Kidney Stone (ranked 1576 p4p, 82 weight class). Stone has chosen Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppord as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Viet Nam!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kidney Stone!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nam tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Nam takes the fight into the clinch.
Nam using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Stone has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Nam breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nam moves in looking to clinch but Stone pushes him off.
Stone goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Stone has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Stone jabs Nam right on the nose. Nam blinks but takes it well.
Stone swats away the attempt to clinch by Nam.

Stone gets tackled into the cage by Nam. Nam maintains the clinch.
Nam throws a punch but it's blocked by Stone.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A nice left hand lands by Stone.
Nam misses with a knee to the head.

Nam escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stone tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nam on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Nam takes the fight into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Nam manages to break the clinch.
Stone lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Stone connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nam momentarily.
Good standup being displayed there by Stone as he connects with a hook.
Nam tries to clinch but Stone moves out of range.
Nam tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Stone scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Nam throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stone.
Nam walks into a jab.
Stone changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
The fighters circling - Stone throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stone keeps the fight on the outside.
A chopping leg kick lands by Stone.
Nam takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Stone throws a big shot that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A left lands for Stone.
Nam rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stone moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Nam rushes Stone and presses him up against the cage.
Stone trying to stall but Nam improves his position.
Nam tries a knee to the head but Stone blocks it.

Nam escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nam tries to clinch up but Stone circles away and keeps his distance.
Nam has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nam there as he acknowledges the shot.
Nam closes the distance looking to clinch
and Stone counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Stone avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stone is looking to slow Nam down with leg kicks.
Nam tries to clinch there but Stone circles away.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Stone.
Nice straight punches there by Stone. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Stone.


Nam is rocked!
Stone lands a brutal uppercut that launches Nam off his feet! Nam tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kidney Stone!
Kidney Stone is the new bantamweight champion!
Kidney Stone decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
