Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Julian Chu (ranked 5826 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Van Damme (ranked 5854 p4p, 259 weight class). Van Damme comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jeet Kune Do Sensei kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Damme gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A shot in the inside from Chu.
Chu jumps guard but Van Damme stands there with Chu around his waist. Chu gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Van Damme lands a knee to the head.
Van Damme lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Chu.
Chu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Van Damme scores with a punch to the head.
A nice leg kick lands there from Van Damme.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Chu is defended easily by Van Damme.
Chu drives through with a takedown into Van Damme's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chu prevents Van Damme from getting back to his feet.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Van Damme can do anything to dispel that myth.
Chu keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Van Damme's head.
Chu stops Van Damme from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Van Damme is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Chu stays in close to Van Damme's body and controls the position.
Chu decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Van Damme, up you get!
Chu throws a solid leg kick but Van Damme takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Chu.
Chu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Van Damme but Van Damme pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julian Chu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Van Damme pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Van Damme lands the left hand.
Van Damme closes the distance and clinches.
Chu swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Van Damme working Chu over with knees to the body.

Van Damme breaks from the clinch.
Chu drives through and clinches with Van Damme against the cage.
Van Damme tries to land a knee to the head but Chu blocks with his arms.
Chu looking to stall.
Chu pulls guard.
Van Damme trying to stand up but can't free himself from Chu's guard.
Chu bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Van Damme's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Van Damme wants to stand and escape but Chu is having none of it.
Chu tries to free his leg and advance position but Van Damme is retaining full guard.
Van Damme is wriggling around but Chu manages to pass to half guard.
Chu controlling the action here.

Van Damme is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Chu has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Van Damme is tapping! This fight is all over!
