Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry Hayden (ranked 24525 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jvr Rane (ranked 7225 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Henry Hayden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jvr Rane!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rane throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hayden throws a right and a left that Rane avoids nicely.
Rane connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hayden momentarily.
A left and a right from Rane both land. Nice combination.
Rane misses with a few strikes there.
Rane scores with a three punch combo!
Rane looks to land a combination but Hayden avoids it well.

Rane gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hayden to score an easy takedown into full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hayden stands and steps away. Rane gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Hayden comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hayden shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Rane ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hayden moves away.
As Rane looks to move away, Hayden throws a big counter combo but Rane just gets out of the way.
Hayden doesn't manage to clinch there - Rane circles away.
Rane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hayden seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Hayden feints a jab promting Rane to slip. Hayden then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Rane slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Rane swats away the attempt to clinch by Hayden.

Rane throws a right and a left that Hayden avoids nicely.
Jvr Rane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rane keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Some wild striking there from Rane.
Rane throws a nice looking combination but Hayden bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hayden misses with a series of wild punches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hayden.
Hayden lands a nice hook to Rane's body. Rane takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

It looked like Hayden wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Hayden shoots in and bounces Rane off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Rane is wriggling around but Hayden manages to pass to half guard.

Hayden lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hayden lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Hayden seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rane does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Rane tries to get to full guard but Hayden has control of the leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Rane. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Hayden lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Rane down.

Hayden looks up at the clock and then as Rane takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hayden smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Hayden lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Hayden pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Rane is in a horrible position here. Hayden smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Hayden will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Hayden shoots for a double leg takedown but Rane sprawls well. He's pushed Hayden's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Hayden fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rane sprawls well initially but Hayden persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Rane tries to kick Hayden off in order to stand up. Hayden Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Rane is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hayden has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Hayden is looking to take a break and control but Rane is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Rane takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Rane tries to control but Hayden manages to take his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rane is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Rane is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hayden sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Rane taps out!
