Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rickey Cobb (ranked 8821 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remove Kebab (ranked 5858 p4p, 568 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Rickey Cobb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Remove Kebab!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kebab closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A shot in the inside from Kebab.
Cobb throws an elbow that misses.

Kebab jumps guard and drags Cobb to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Cobb with a nice head shot there.
Kebab is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Kebab is working an open guard so Cobb takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Kebab drives through and clinches with Cobb against the cage.

Kebab gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Cobb has his hands clasped together around Kebab's back. He's all about the action.
Cobb is looking to improve his position.

Kebab trying to pass the guard but Cobb defending well.
Kebab wants to take a breather but Cobb is having none of it.
Kebab throwing shots but Cobb is blocking nicely.
Kebab thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cobb's head.
Cobb tries to roll over but Kebab keeps him under control.
Cobb is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kebab connects with a nice short shot to Cobb's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cobb is controlling Kebab's trapped leg to prevent Kebab from advancing to side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Cobb wants to get back to his feet.

Kebab is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Cobb is not content to let Kebab control the position.
Cobb might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kebab stalling.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Cobb really is a fat lump.

Kebab shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cobb manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Kebab is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cobb is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cobb has escaped and now he's on top!

Kebab is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kebab seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cobb does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Cobb is concentrating on defense, preventing Kebab from advancing position.
Cobb tries to get to full guard but Kebab has control of the leg.
Cobb has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kebab is working away from the top position though.

Kebab seems to be working for a kimura but Cobb defends the submission attempt.
Cobb wants to improve his position but Kebab is controlling well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cobb preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Cobb is not content to let Kebab control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Remove Kebab dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Kebab throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Cobb moves into the clinch successfully.

Cobb pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Kebab closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Cobb tries to pull guard but Kebab won't allow it.

Cobb ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cobb no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Kebab is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cobb seems keen to control Kebab's posture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cobb wants to sweep but no luck.

Cobb has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kebab can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kebab wants to control from the top but Cobb keeps moving.
Cobb pulls Kebab in close to prevent any damage.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kebab content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Cobb is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Kebab is looking to work some ground and pound but Cobb has wrist control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Kebab drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cobb is looking to stand back up but Kebab counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Cobb.

Cobb is staying active underneath Kebab, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Cobb is looking for a sweep. Kebab is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kebab thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cobb's head.
Cobb slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Kebab wants to control from the top but Cobb keeps moving.
Kebab might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cobb haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Cobb is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

That was a close second round but I would say that Rickey Cobb will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Cobb misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kebab is on top in guard.

I would just about give that final round to Remove Kebab.
I think Kebab has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
