The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindham lands the left hand.

It looks like Ayn Rand has been cut.
Rand walks into a jab.
Rand misses with a takedown attempt
and Lindham counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rand tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lindham sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rand somewhat.
A jab lands there for Lindham.

Rand shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lindham but Lindham pushes him off and we're back to square one.
William Lindham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ayn Rand.
Rand takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Lindham jabs Rand to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lindham throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rand stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

William Lindham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rand shoots in looking for a takedown but Lindham manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rand's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lindham throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Lindham lands a jab to Rand's midsection.

Lindham lands a big uppercut and Rand crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rand looks OK. Lindham waves Rand back to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lindham bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rand's head backwards.

Rand is rocked!
