I think Dren might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to GETO BOYS - mind of a lunatic. McGuire Jr is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Tom Petty - I Won't Back Down. Zdravko Dren is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire Jr connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
A head kick misses from Dren.
Dren digs a good body shot into McGuire Jr's ribs.
Ralph McGuire Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dren slips a jab and a cross from McGuire Jr.
McGuire Jr works Dren's body with a nice hook.
Dren throws a right and a left that McGuire Jr avoids nicely.

McGuire Jr throws a hook to the side of Dren's head but Dren sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Dren tries a head kick but it misses.
McGuire Jr tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dren defends well and McGuire Jr ends up having to push Dren into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
As McGuire Jr looks to move away, Dren throws a big counter combo but McGuire Jr just gets out of the way.
McGuire Jr throws out a loose jab but Dren uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dren throws a quick counter kick to the body but McGuire Jr avoids it.

Dren tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
McGuire Jr ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dren moves away.
McGuire Jr shoots for a takedown but Dren saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Zdravko Dren has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ralph McGuire Jr.
McGuire Jr throws a right hand that Dren ducks under and follows up with a left that Dren also avoids with ease.
Dren lands with a right hand.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McGuire Jr is defended easily by Dren.
Dren was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Dren loads up on a big right hand but McGuire Jr slips the punch.
McGuire Jr tries to close the distance and clinch but Dren swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McGuire Jr has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
McGuire Jr misses with a body shot.
A slow jab from McGuire Jr misses its intended target.
Dren avoids the head kick by McGuire Jr.
Dren feinted there with a counter leg kick.

Dren takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

McGuire Jr loads up with a big shot that hurts Dren! He's pulled McGuire Jr in close but McGuire Jr has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Dren survive? More strikes from McGuire Jr and Dren is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
