The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kirby shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fortytwo's guard.
Fortytwo wants to stand up but Kirby is controlling him.
Kirby must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kirby wants to control from the top but Fortytwo keeps moving.
Fortytwo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kirby manages to get himself to full guard.
