These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dominic Donnelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ryan Kobylarek!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donnelly lands a leg kick that knocks Kobylarek off balance momentarily.
Donnelly blocks the body kick.
Donnelly is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Kobylarek.
Donnelly fakes the leg kick and cracks Kobylarek in the body.
Donnelly dodges the punch combination from Kobylarek.

Donnelly forces Kobylarek back against the cage and clinches.
Kobylarek is trying to break free.
Donnelly keeps control of Kobylarek as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Donnelly creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Kobylarek's defenses.
Kobylarek wants to break free but Donnelly has control.
Donnelly lands with a left to the head.

Donnelly breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kobylarek takes one to the side of the head.
A slapping leg kick lands for Donnelly.
Kobylarek has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Donnelly.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Donnelly throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kobylarek misses with a double jab
letting Donnelly counter with a right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kobylarek looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
As Kobylarek tries to get set, Donnelly tries to push him back and clinch up but Kobylarek manages to avoid the attempt.

Donnelly closes the distance and clinches.
Donnelly lands an uppercut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Donnelly creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.


Kobylarek is rocked!

Donnelly breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kobylarek is still on wobbly legs! Can Donnelly finish him?
Kobylarek misses with a few strikes there.
Donnelly is looking to counter the offense by Kobylarek and move into the clinch.
Kobylarek gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Donnelly gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Kobylarek is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dominic Donnelly!
A relieved looking Dominic Donnelly thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Ryan Kobylarek stepped up to the mic, saying 'Win or lose we still booze'.
