The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson dives in and grabs Sitsongrit's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sitsongrit pushes down on Johnson's head and hops out.
Sitsongrit lands a glancing blow to the side of Johnson's head.
Johnson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Sitsongrit. That one must have hurt.
Nice uppercut there from Sitsongrit.
Petchuangtong Sitsongrit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Sitsongrit drops Johnson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Johnson looks back up at him and smiles so Sitsongrit waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Johnson is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johnson.
Johnson is still on wobbly legs! Can Sitsongrit finish him?
Petchuangtong Sitsongrit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddie Johnson.
Johnson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sitsongrit to score with a decent uppercut.
Johnson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've been told by Sitsongrit's head coaches at Sitsongrit Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Sitsongrit dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sitsongrit.
Johnson seems to have recovered his senses.
Sitsongrit wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Johnson looks winded!

Sitsongrit lands a big right hand that sends Johnson crashing to the mat! Sitsongrit stays standing though and waves Johnson back to his feet!
Johnson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Johnson takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Sitsongrit knocks out Johnson with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Sitsongrit before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Sitsongrit picks up the big W with a huge KO!

A determined Petchuangtong Sitsongrit didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
