Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Miller (ranked 3920 p4p, 460 weight class) and Yi Ruogang (ranked 2045 p4p, 267 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yi Ruogang!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Bruno Lombardi and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Miller is defended easily by Ruogang.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Yi Ruogang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Miller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ruogang manages to avoid it.
Miller smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Ruogang wants to pass to mount but Miller is defending the position.

Ruogang has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ruogang is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Miller has managed to escape the submission attempt.
