Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khalafa misses with the combination.
Stone should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
No joy there for Khalafa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Khalafa lands a really nice looking cross but Stone seems unphased.
Stone shoots in looking for a takedown. Khalafa tries to sprawl out of it but Stone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Khalafa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Khalafa has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Stone slips a straight right by Khalafa.
Stone closes this distance looking for a takedown but Khalafa circles away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Khalafa enables Stone to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Khalafa manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Khalafa wriggles free and stands up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stone ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Stone is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Stone on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Stone shoots in looking for a takedown but Khalafa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stone's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Yaser Khalafa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maurice Stone.

Khalafa looks to land a combination but Stone avoids it well.

Stone drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Khalafa is pushing Stone's head away, looking to escape. Stone manages to hold on to the position though.

Stone is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Khalafa knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Khalafa tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stone wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Khalafa wants to get back to his feet.

Stone is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Khalafa looks calm but he's in trouble here. Stone gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Khalafa is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Stone lets go of the hold and Khalafa can pop his arm back in it's socket.
