Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wes Ray (ranked 1100 p4p, 141 weight class) and Terrell Jones (ranked 2391 p4p, 284 weight class). Ray comes to the cage accompanied by The Best Around. Jones has chosen Mama Said Knock You Out as his entrance music. Terrell Jones will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray moves out of range as Jones strikes.

Ray looking to score a takedown here. Jones is defending well but Ray drives through and ends up in Jones's guard.
Ray working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jones's head.
Ray lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Ray postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Ray stands up over Jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ray is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Jones looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Ray drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Ray as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Jones screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Ray! Nice submission victory there!

Wes Ray was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
Terrell Jones spoke after the fight, saying 'Man, Wes is a great champ.. I need to get back into the gym over at Forge, and hit it hard. I'll be back.'.
