Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dom Vlasic (ranked 6758 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raqaun Shaw (ranked 9276 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw shoots in and drives through. Vlasic sprawls well.
Vlasic lands with a right hand.

Vlasic clinches.
Vlasic comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Shaw looking to stall.
Vlasic lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Shaw wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Vlasic has him pressed against the cage.
Vlasic lands a right hand.
Vlasic lands an elbow that stopped Shaw in his tracks for a moment.
Shaw fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Vlasic tries a body shot but Shaw blocks it.

Vlasic stands up from Shaw's guard - Vlasic perhaps looking for a knockout.
Shaw walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vlasic doesn't manage to clinch there - Shaw circles away.

Vlasic comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Vlasic fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shaw takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Shaw has Vlasic up against the cage in a clinch.

Shaw breaks from the clinch.
Vlasic dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Shaw gets tackled into the cage by Vlasic. Vlasic maintains the clinch.
Vlasic slowing the pace effectively.
Shaw's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Vlasic definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Shaw has eaten all the pies!

Shaw breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Shaw tries to keep at a distance but Vlasic has taken the fight into the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vlasic is leaning against Shaw and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Vlasic pushes Shaw back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Shaw tries for a takedown but Vlasic manages to get underhooks.
Dom Vlasic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raqaun Shaw.
Shaw looks winded!
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Vlasic lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Vlasic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Vlasic keeps the fight on the outside.
Dom Vlasic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Shaw.

Shaw fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Vlasic sprawls well initially but Shaw persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Vlasic wants to get back to full guard.
Vlasic is trying to stand back up but Shaw is controlling him

Shaw takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Vlasic wants to improve his position but Shaw is controlling well.
Shaw lands strikes from half guard.
Vlasic is looking for a sweep. Shaw is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Vlasic pushes Shaw off looking to stand but Shaw dives back in and keeps control.
Shaw working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Vlasic is looking to improve his position.
Shaw slips a nice elbow through Vlasic's hands, connecting with Vlasic's forehead.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Vlasic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shaw on the ground.

Shaw is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Vlasic is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
