PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sergey Chernishev (ranked 5297 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willie Salazar (ranked 5244 p4p, 0 weight class). Chernishev's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, MC Hovanskiy - Father in the building. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chernishev looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Salazar with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Salazar is rocked!

Chernishev closes the distance and clinches up with Salazar, looking for a takedown. Chernishev pushes Salazar against the cage but Salazar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Salazar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chernishev gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Salazar is looking to sweep but instead, Chernishev has passed into half guard.
Salazar strikes from the bottom but Chernishev uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Check out the look on Chernishev's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Chernishev looks up at the clock and then as Salazar takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Chernishev smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
