Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Krejzi Kure (ranked 3503 p4p, 295 weight class) and Khalil Mack (ranked 4765 p4p, 359 weight class). Kure comes to the cage accompanied by BIG SHUG - who's hard. Mack has chosen Rapamycin as his entrance music. Krejzi Kure had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mack showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kure.
Mack takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kure slips under a jab from Mack.
Mack blocks a jab.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mack! But no joy.
Mack with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kure to score with a decent uppercut.
Kure swinging wildly here.
Mack cracks Kure with an open hand slap.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kure throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kure throws a predictable looking body shot
and Mack counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mack moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kure throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mack counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mack fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Kure misses with a jab to the body
and Mack counters with a straight that turns Kure's legs to rubber! Mack pushes forward with more strikes and Kure goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Khalil Mack!
An out of breath Khalil Mack thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
