Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tyson Pearson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alastair Dunn!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pearson pushes Dunn up against the cage in a clinch.
The referee calls for Pearson to work.
Dunn blocking some punches.
Pearson looking to throw knees to the head but Dunn is blocking nicely.
Dunn struggles to land a body shot inside as Pearson controls his hands.

Dunn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pearson throws a right and a left that Dunn avoids nicely.
Dunn tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Dunn looks to land a combination but Pearson avoids it well.
Pearson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Dunn paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Pearson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dunn throws a body shot but no joy.
Dunn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dunn swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Pearson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A slow jab from Pearson misses its intended target.
Dunn misses with a takedown attempt - Pearson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dunn uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pearson.
Pearson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dunn.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pearson throws a series of punches but Dunn avoids them all with ease.

Dunn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
An attempted straight right counter from Pearson misses the target.
Dunn blocks the body kick.
Pearson ducks under a wild hook from Dunn.
Dunn fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pearson avoids it really well and circles away.
Pearson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dunn throws out a counter right but Pearson avoids it with no problem.
Dunn avoids the body shot from Pearson.

Pearson closes the distance and clinches.
Good body shot from Dunn.
Pearson can't break the clinch.
Dunn is working for takedown but Pearson is calmly controlling the position for now.
Tyson Pearson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alastair Dunn.

Dunn cracks Pearson with a big elbow.
Pearson is trying to get back to his feet.
Dunn working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dunn wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pearson, who protects the arm well.
Pearson is pushing Dunn's head away, looking to escape. Dunn manages to hold on to the position though.
Pearson is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Pearson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Well, if Pearson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Pearson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dunn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Pearson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Dunn is looking to improve his position.
Pearson wants to pass to mount but Dunn is defending the position.

Pearson gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Dunn looks to land a right hand but Pearson moved out of range.
Pearson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The crowd cheers as Pearson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dunn doesn't seem phased though.
Pearson throws a head kick but Dunn moves out of range.
Pearson throws a sloppy head kick and Dunn moves out of range easily.
Pearson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dunn misses with an uppercut. Pearson saw that one coming.

Dunn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pearson.

Dunn blocks a head kick by Pearson.
Dunn drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Pearson defends it well.
Pearson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dunn swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Pearson moves into the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pearson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Pearson manages to break the clinch.
Pearson tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dunn! But no joy.
Dunn scores with the left hand. Pearson knows he should have avoided that one.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dunn checks the leg kick.
Dunn looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Dunn might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Dunn pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Dunn displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.


Pearson is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Dunn engages and cracks Pearson with a massive lead left hook - Pearson tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Dunn is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alastair Dunn!
